In the summer of 2024, Jaguar Land Rover chose the sun-drenched shores of Mykonos to debut Range Rover House, a global luxury brand activation that transformed a private hilltop villa into a world of curated indulgence, automotive excellence, and unforgettable moments.

The concept was ambitious: invite over 300 distinguished guests, including Range Rover clients, European and global media, and senior Jaguar Land Rover executives, to a multi-week immersive programme on one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic islands. The result was so compelling that Range Rover returned in 2025 with an expanded edition celebrating the brand’s 55th anniversary.

At the heart of both activations was a local strategic partner who made it all possible: Design Luxury Vacays, led by NanaAmma Hay.

The House

Overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean Sea, Villa Untold in Aleomandra became the canvas for Range Rover House Mykonos. This expansive luxury residence, with its striking contemporary stone architecture and commanding hilltop position, offered guests something rare: absolute privacy, breathtaking panoramas, and a sense of calm that belied the extraordinary programme unfolding within its walls.

Spanning two levels, the villa featured multiple open-plan living and entertainment spaces, two luxurious infinity pools, and bedrooms designed as private retreats. The harmonious blend of natural materials and the raw beauty of the Mykonos landscape created an environment where every detail whispered sophistication. This was not merely a venue; it was an extension of the Range Rover philosophy: refined, capable, and unmistakably exceptional.

The Experience

Range Rover House Mykonos was not a single event but a living, breathing programme of curated moments. Across approximately 15 guest days in each edition, visitors were immersed in a world where automotive performance met island lifestyle at the highest level.

The Drive

At the core of the activation lay the driving experience. Guests were invited behind the wheel of limited-edition Range Rover SV Sport models, including the exclusive Riviera and Gaea editions, to explore Mykonos across a purpose-built driving route that traversed the island’s varied terrain. In 2025, the programme expanded with dedicated construction teams building parking areas, pathways across the Mykonos landscape, and specially prepared driving routes, all coordinated by Design Luxury Vacays through local landowner agreements and infrastructure sourcing.

Culinary Journeys

Food was woven into every thread of the programme. A Greek private chef team prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the activation, with each meal celebrating local ingredients and Mediterranean tradition. Guests participated in hands-on cooking classes at the villa, champagne and cocktail masterclasses, and exclusive dining experiences at island destinations including Fokos Taverna, Beefbar Mykonos, and Noema Mykonos.

Wellness and Culture

The programme extended well beyond the automotive. Poolside wellness sessions, yoga overlooking the sea, and partnerships with Korres (Greek skincare) and Vilebrequin (luxury lifestyle) added layers of sensory richness. Curated visits to Kapopoulos Fine Arts Gallery, guided explorations of Mykonos Town, and evenings at Lio Mykonos ensured that every hour offered something new.

Sunset Gatherings

As the Aegean sky shifted to amber and violet, the villa transformed into an intimate gathering place. VIP guests, media, and executives mingled over T-OINOS wines and artisan cocktails against a backdrop of Mykonos Town glittering across the bay. These were the moments where relationships were forged and the Range Rover lifestyle felt most tangible.

Behind the Scenes

What guests experienced as effortless was, in reality, a complex logistical operation spanning months of preparation. As the local strategic partner, Design Luxury Vacays served as the essential bridge between the international production team and the island of Mykonos, handling everything from municipal liaison and stakeholder management to hospitality programming and infrastructure coordination.

Opening Doors Others Cannot

One of the most remarkable elements of the activation involved securing exclusive vehicle access to the iconic Mykonos Windmills, a location normally closed to commercial vehicles during the summer season. Through careful consultation with the Mykonos Municipality, Design Luxury Vacays negotiated special permissions for Range Rover vehicles to drop off and pick up guests directly at the windmills, creating an unforgettable starting point for the curated Mykonos Town experience. The same coordination enabled a dawn photoshoot for the Jaguar Land Rover global marketing team at this iconic location.

Additional institutional coordination included consulting with the management of Mykonos International Airport to arrange complimentary Range Rover shuttle services for all arriving and departing guests, and liaising with the local Hellenic Police unit to ensure safe, seamless vehicle movement across the island.

Curating Partnerships

Design Luxury Vacays sourced and managed the partnerships that gave Range Rover House its distinctly Greek character. Premium wine partner T-OINOS, luxury lifestyle brand Vilebrequin, and Korres skincare were woven seamlessly into the guest programme. On the hospitality side, accommodation partners included Deos Mykonos, Kalesma Mykonos, and Kivotos Mykonos for VIP guests and executives, while Manoulas Beach Hotel supported the operational teams.

A dedicated beach activation at Casa del Mar Mykonos transformed the venue into a branded “Range Rover Beach” experience, and the Range Rover Pop-Up Experience at Mykonos Old Port (introduced in 2025) extended the brand’s presence into the island’s public life.

2025: The Return

The success of the inaugural edition made the decision easy: Range Rover returned to Mykonos in 2025 with an even more ambitious programme. The second edition celebrated 55 years of Range Rover, featuring a special anniversary vehicle displayed at the villa alongside two additional display vehicles presented in the original classic Range Rover colour.

New elements included an official Opening Party at Villa Untold, curated and guest-listed by Design Luxury Vacays, that welcomed select local VIPs, tastemakers, and partners to the island’s most talked-about activation. Expanded dining partnerships with Beefbar, Noema, and Lio Mykonos elevated the culinary programme, while a Hublot masterclass added yet another layer of luxury craftsmanship to the guest experience.
